    Prototype to production

    I prototype in code, not just Figma.

    Sometimes those prototypes ship. Sometimes they just help the team feel the idea before we commit to building it. Both are valuable.

  2. 02
    Systems over silos

    I think in systems - not just the UI, but the organizational and technical ones around it.

    The best design decisions hold up across teams, platforms, and time. That means being in the room with engineering and product early, not handing things off later.

  3. 03
    Real problems, measured impact

    I care whether the thing worked, not whether it looked good in a review.

    Acquisition, retention, revenue - those are the metrics. Design that doesn't move the business isn't doing its job.

    Ship real things, often

    Ship the 80% version. Learn from real users. Iterate.

    A design review will never teach you what a week in production will.
